a perfect romantic escape!
evening turndownvalet serviceovercooked chop
the hotel located near the royal park allowed for lovely strolls. the interior design blended history with modernity beautifully. the valet service and evening turndown were very special touches! it added an extra layer of luxury to our stay, though i wish there was more clarity on valet costs upfront.
the food did not match the beautiful setting. My pork chop was overcooked and dry. service in the bar lounge was slow, something i hope will be fixed soon.

the gym contains modern equipment; i saw several treadmills and stationary bikes. the spa includes a large pool area with many loungers for guests; a shaded section is also accessible. the grounds were expansive and well maintained.

the room includes two separate sinks! a rainfall shower provided a luxurious touch after a long day. the bed proved particularly cozy, assuring restful sleep. the size was generous and well equipped.

Mixed Experience Due to Service Issues
billing problems
The room was very clean upon arrival.
I encountered billing problems. At check out, there was a large overcharge. It is frustrating. This happened on a previous stay. Staff seem overwhelmed at the restaurants. The hotel cleaning was also subpar, evidenced by leftover sweets and wrappers from the prior guest. No one at reception seemed interested in my experiences.

The grounds feature beautiful landscaping. The hotel staff are friendly and approachable, delivering great service at every interaction. They greeted me warmly each time they saw me. This.
The drink prices at the bar seemed inconsistent, a very minor issue.

The reception staff were brilliant and super attentive; they made me feel like royalty. Shravia supported the reception team and offered to carry bags. She even helped the children and walked us to the car.

The Moreish restaurant offered fine dining options; breakfasts were the best part of the menu. Alex, the bartender, was incredible; he dazzled our kids with mocktails. He created fabulous concoctions and was very friendly and kind.

the room was very clean. the shower included a double enclosure with two shower heads. the staff was very friendly. the gardens are beautiful. i enjoyed dinner and lunch at brasserie restaurant. the bed was super comfortable. the amenities in the room were really good.
i sat outside in the garden waiting to order drinks for ages. eventually a waiter came out. i had to ask three times for a cappuccino at breakfast. i eventually gave up because it was taking so long.
